Meditation ballsThere are multiple healing techniques in this world today.  A very popular technique is one called Reiki.  It is believed that by just a means of touch and channeling energy, a therapist can transfer this energy to the person to help with a healing of the body.  This is a way to heal and restore the physical and emotional well being of a person.  This form of alternate medicine was developed by the Japanese Buddhist, Mikao Usue, in the year of 1922.  It has been called “hands-on-healing” or “palm healing”, since the therapist is transferring energy through their hands, and into the persons body.  It is considered a spiritual and vibrational healing practice.  There is no ingestion of any medical substances or any kind of physical therapy or physical manipulation.  Studies have shown that many feel they are becoming connected to their own spirituality, therefore, they are in a sense healing themselves.

There are many different types of Reiki.  Such as, Usui, Tibetan, Karuna, Gendai, Rainbow, Shamballa, Kundalini, and Imara Reiki.  Usui Reiki and Tibetan Reiki are very similar treatments.  These treatments consist of the therapist laying their hands on someone in a certain pattern, therefore, allowing the energy to flow from their hands and into the persons body in need of the healing.  Also, through this treatment, the person needing the healing learns the techniques for self-treatment as well as treatment of others.  Karuna Reiki is known as the “evolved” form of Usui.  The word Karuna is derived from Sanskrit which means “compassionate action.”  The right effects can be created to enhance the spiritual levels of a person, through the combination of compassion and wisdom.  The energy transferred to the person actually encircles around them, to give them self-confidence.  Gendai Reiki has a specific type of training methods for healing.  It focuses on the more recent types of practices.  The individual participates to master the different levels, defined as empowerment techniques, to achieve the healing process.  Rainbow Reiki is actually a beginners Reiki to help those who have never accomplished the healing process of Reiki.  It is the safest and most effective system for achieving natural healing.  This kind of healing treatment actually works together with medical treatment as well.  The person is able to develop a deeper contact with their inner spirit while going through this process.  Shamballa Reiki has only been introduced just a few years back.  This system has approximately 352 symbols in its practices, therefore, it has been called “The Complete System of Reiki.”  Stone with inscriptionThis treatment is focused on a persons universal energy.  Therefore, when the process of transferring energy to that person in need of healing, it focuses on sending energy directly to the spot that is hurting, rather than the person healing themselves with the energy.  Kundalini Reiki is a treatment in which you have gained the strong access to the Earth’s energy by means of certain healing channels.  By meditation, a person is able to achieve Kundalini healing by focusing on the energy inside of their deepest core of their mind and body, and pushing it through their body and out of the top of their head.  Imara Reiki focuses and works on the specific immense vibrational energy levels.  Laho Chi, is a spirit, that is called upon during this treatment for an enormous and intense healing of the persons body and soul.  It is considered to be a very sacred energy.  This form of Reiki can help heal mind, body, and soul.
